I am thinking of using wallpaper in my bedroom.

Wallpaper can only be applied on a smooth surface.
Though more expensive than paint, wallpapers are more durable because they can stay up to 15 years once applied and is a one-time investment.
The only thing is that a wallpaper has to be fully removed first before applying a new one.
So choose a wallpaper according to your requirements and the decor.
