Designing a room for an infant can be both, challenging, and pretty simple too! To keep it simple, choose a theme - this makes it easier to choose the right colours, furniture, and other elements. Most importantly, if you have space constraints, make sure that there is enough room to add new elements, to accommodate the child’s needs as he/she grows! You may eventually need a bigger bed, and new furniture to suit his/her requirements. Space planning is very crucial.
Most important point: Baby-proof the room by covering all the electrical sockets, concealing the wires, anchoring down furniture, etc. Also, if possible, choose curved furniture - you don’t want your growing child hurting himself/herself on the pointed corners! Besides, curved furniture actually makes a room really elegant - you can opt for it for your other rooms too…
